PERBANDINGAN KARAKTER ANAK MILENIAL YANG DIASUH IBU RUMAH TANGGA DENGAN IBU KARIR DI SMK ABDI NEGARA, MUNTILAN

The purpose of this study is to analyze the character of millennial children who were raised by housewives at SMK (vocational school) Abdi Negara, Muntilan, to analyze the character of millennial children who were raised by career mothers at SMK Abdi Negara, Muntilan and to analyze the differences of the characters between millennial children raised by housewives with career mothers at SMK Abdi Negara, Muntilan. This research uses quantitative comparative method. The population of this study was 178 students at SMK Abdi Negara, Muntilan. Samples that can be taken by the researcher are 30 students who were raised by housewives and 30 students who are raised by career mothers. The sampling technique is random sampling and data analysis techniques using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results of this research are: (1) The character of the millennial child who were raised by the housewives at SMK Abdi Negara, Muntilan has an average value of honesty character of 3.2 which means moderate. Whereas for the average value of character tolerance is 4.4, religiosity 4.1, discipline 4.2, responsibility 4, hard work 4.1, cooperation 4.1 and self-confidence 3.9 which means good. (2) The character of millennial children raised by career mothers at SMK Abdi Negara, Muntilan has an average value of honesty character of 3.3, which means moderate. While for the average value of character tolerance is 4.5, religiosity 4.2, discipline 4.1, responsibility 4, hard work 3.8, collaboration 3.9 and self-confidence 3.9 which means good. (3) Through Independent Sample T-Test, it is proven that the value of Sig. 0.987>0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is no significant difference in the character of millennial children who are raised by career mothers and housewives at SMK Abdi Negara, Muntilan. Based on the existing value criteria, the average value of 120.9 for millennial children raised by the housewives and the average value of 120.8 for the children raised by career mothers can be categorized as good.
