Abstract
Writing is an activity that is carried out by most people, including students that use it as a means of learning. Students’ writing requires inputs that could be provided by teacher or fellow students which is also known as peer feedback. Peer feedback couldbe applied both in offline and online learning; moreover, the feedback given by fellow students provide several advantages. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the benefits of online written peer feedback (OWPF) for their writing and their further actions after receiving the online written peer feedback for their writing. This study used descriptive qualitative design by interviewing six English Language Education Department (ELED) students. The researcher found two findings based on the research questions. First finding focuses on the benefits of OWPF, namely OWPF is practical, well-documented, and time-flexible. Meanwhile, the second finding focuses on the ways or further actions applied by students after receiving the OWPF, namely revising the writing if the OWPF is clear, confirming the feedback if the OWPF is unclear, and being ignorant if the OWPF is unclear.
