Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the 5S kaizen concept on employee performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor. This study uses employee performance as the dependent variable and seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke as independent variables. The sample used in this study were employees of the procurement division of PT. Astra Honda Motor, totaling 360 employees. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The type of data used in this research is primary data. The data was collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using the SPSS v.20 software application. The results showed that seiri and seiton did not positively affect employee performance, while seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke had a significant positive effect on employee performance.
