Abstract

Da'wah is an eternal mission because it has a function to socialize Islamic values as well as being a reconstruction effort in society that is in accordance with the teachings of Islam raḥmatal lil-'ālamīn, and is an activity or act that is al-amr bi-l-maʿrūf wa-n-nahy ʿani-lmunkar. One of the media that is fairly conventional but still exists today is radio. Da'wah in this way is usually carried out by broadcasting religious materials through one of the programs on the radio. The purpose of this research is to describe the da’wah rhetoric of Ustadz Yusuf Faisal Ali in the Cahaya Qolbu broadcast program of Radio Cakra 90.5 FM Bandung. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected by observing audio recordings of the lectures, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis that the researcher has done on the da’wah rhetoric of Ustadz Yusuf Faisal Ali in the Cahaya Qolbu broadcast program of Radio Cakra 90.5 FM Bandung, in the three broadcast episodes that have been analyzed, the researcher obtained results in several coverages contained in the rhetoric component which is divided into four parts, namely language, sound, expression, and material from the four components. From each episode, it can be concluded that the delivery of language is simple, has a variety of tones, and can imitate voices during da’wah, material discussion is not rushed and more solemn in reviewing da’wah on the radio, the material presented is in easy and very coherent language, and provides examples of the materials in a non-patronizing manner.
