RESPON PETANI TERHADAP PROGRAM OPTIMASI LAHAN (SERASI) DI KECAMATAN MADANG SUKU III KABUPATEN OKU TIMUR PROVINSI SUMATRA SELATAN

Land optimization is an effort to increase the Crop Index (IP) and productivity through production facilities and land management. The Serasi Program is a program that aims to utilize swamp land to develop agricultural commodities, namely food commodities while still paying attention to the function of environmental conservation. In Indonesia, the Serasi Program is implemented in 3 provinces, one of which is in South Sumatra, precisely in Madang Suku III District, East Oku Regency. This study aims to determine how farmers' responses are seen from cognitive attitudes, affective attitudes, conative attitudes and farmer participation levels and the factors related to farmers' responses to land optimization programs (harmonious). The research was carried out in Madang Tribe III District by interview method using a questionnaire to 70 farmers who became respondents. This research uses descriptive analysis, Likert scale and Spearmen rank correlation test. The results of the analysis show that the positive response of farmers as seen from the cognitive attitude of farmers to the program of making waterways/irrigation, road construction and fulfillment of production inputs is Tofu, Affective attitude of farmers to programs of making waterways/irrigation, road construction and fulfillment of production inputs is happy, conative attitude Farmers to the program of making waterways/irrigation, road construction and fulfillment of production inputs are Interested, the level of participation of farmers in the active planning stage, the level of participation of farmers in the Less Active implementation stage, the participation level of the farmers in the Less Active implementation stage. Factors related to farmers' responses are the position of the Gapoktan, the activeness of the Gapoktan, and the knowledge of the farmers.
