PENGARUH PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF THE ANIMAL (PETA) TERHADAP IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN “FUR-FREE” 2018 (STUDI KASUS: KOLEKSI MUSIM SEMI GUCCI)

This thesis will explain the influence of People for the Ethical Treatment of the Animal (PETA) in advancing the “Fur-Free” campaign, especially for the international industrial company Gucci. The widespread use of animals as materials used by humans in the industrial world without the application of animal welfare principles. From these problems, then new problems arise, including industrial companies, one of which is Gucci exploiting the animals used for their fur as the main material for their production, and also the production process is not environmentally friendly because in the process of tanning the fur they use can contribute chromium compounds. toxic and will cause water pollution. As a result of this, PETA as an ecological NGO urged Gucci to conduct a campaign to demand changes in production policies so as not to use fur in its production.
