Abstract
In the era of technology that has developed a lot like today, cellphones, laptops and tablets are mandatory devices to support learning. Voice chatbot as a conversational AI (artificial intelligence) communication software that can capture, interpret, and analyze vocal inputs provided by users to generate responses in natural language. Voice chatbots provide interaction between humans and chatbots, in this chatbot using the serderhana script language (RiveScript) developed for learning media as a program that can conduct natural language chats about a topic that has been created. RiveScript is a simple scripting language to provide intelligence to chatbots and other conversation entities. Therefore, a learning method is needed that can be applied using instruments specifically designed by laptops or computers as science or media called Desktop Applications. This study used the waterfall method. The waterfall method or called the waterfall method is often called the classic life cycle, which describes a systematic and sequential approach to software development. The waterfall method is a series that must go through a step-by-step process that must wait for the completion of the previous stage and run sequentially in order to get good and efficient results, providing needs easier to realize and developers can work better than using traditional methods. The resulting application provides useful knowledge and functions in the expected features, content, help, video, paragraph link of correct pronunciation, and scores in our conversations with chatbots.
