Abstract
Introduction: Stroke causes blood flow to the brain to be disrupted due to blockage or blood vessels which causes compression of brain tissue, resulting in heration. This disorder causes limb weakness which will result in hemiparase which causes stroke patients to do bed rest, continuous pressure causes decreased blood flow, which can reduce the supply of nutrients and adequate leukocytes, resulting in tissue ischemia and infection resulting in damage. Skin integrity is pressure sores Objective: This study was to find out what are the risk factors for pressure ulcers in stroke patients and what their prevalence is and what groups often have pressure sores. Methods: This type of research is a literature review which uses 5 journals. Article quality testing using JBI Research Results: In this literature study, it was found that low level of consciousness, immobility, incontinence/wetting, limited activity, movement/friction, poor nutrition, history of DM, low Hb, and humidity. The prevalence of pressure ulcers was 7 out of 49 responses to pressure ulcers. Pressure sores usually occur in the age group and in bed rest patients. Conclusion: The occurrence of pressure sores is influenced by a low level of consciousness, immobility, incontinence/bedwetting, limited activity, movement/friction, poor nutrition, history of DM, low Hb, and humidity.
