PENGARUH INTENSI BULLYING TERHADAP PERKEMBANG MORAL MAHASISWA FAKULTAS AGAMA ISLAM UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to identify the effect of bullying intention on moral development among the students of Faculty of Islamic Religion. The research method used was quantitative method with a population of 380 students. The sampling technique applied snowball sampling technique in 3 majors, namely Communication and Islamic Broadcasting (KPI) major which is 29.2%, Sharia Economics (EKSYA) major which is 35.4%, and Islamic Education (PAI) major which is 35.4%. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis used in this study was regression test and normality test. Based on the results of the research obtained, it shows that the regression test for bullying intention with moral development obtaining the value of 0.000 0.05. As a result, the regression model can be used to predict the variable of participation. In other words, there is an effect of the variable of bullying (X) on the variable of moral development (Y). Therefore, it can be stated that there is an effect of bullying intention on students’ moral development. Bullying brings impacts on various aspects, especially on an individual's moral development. As a result, this study offers a recommendation to pay great attention on bullying behavior both physically and verbally.
