Abstract

Learning media has a very important role in the learning process of the Qur'an, so an innovative media is needed. Therefore, researchers developed an Android-based learning medium called Mobile Learning. This research intends to produce learning media in the form of Android applications that can make it easier for users to understand the Qur'an, such as tajwid science, makharijul letters, etc. This aims to provide understanding in the learning of the Qur'an, as well as to keep the user's orality from errors in reading it. This application is an implementation of the UMY Qur'an learning guidebook module which was developed by applying the Prototype model of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. During the development process, application requirements data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews. Then it was designed with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling and application testing was carried out using the Black-Box Testing method. From these tests, results were obtained that showed that this Android-based Qur'an science learning application can function properly.
