Abstract
Background - Mental illness is a condition where some clients feel not accepted by other people, their environment, fail in business, cannot control their emotions and make clients feel disturbed or threatened. Severe mental disorder, namely schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder that can interfere with a person's thought processes, perceptions, and behavior. Schizophrenia has negative symptoms, namely psychomotor slowing, decreased self-care, decreased activity, and apathy and positive symptoms, namely delusions, delusions, and hallucinations. Patients with mental disorders need support to prevent relapse, the form of support that can be done is by providing spiritual therapy in the form of listening to the murrotal Al-Qur'an and reading AlFatihah. Purpose - This case study aims to determine the effect before and after the application of AlQur'an and Al-Fatihah murrotal therapy to reduce signs and symptoms in hallucinatory patients. Methods - The method used in this case study is using a questionnaire evaluating signs and symptoms of hallucinations. The source of this questionnaire is from research by Rausan, 2015 which totals 35 questions. Results - Before being given the murrotal Al-Qur'an and Al-Fatihah interventions the patient's hallucination score was 24 (signs of severe symptoms) then after being given the intervention the score of hallucinations became 3 (signs of mild symptoms). This proves that Al-Qur'an and AlFatihah murrotal therapy is proven to reduce signs and symptoms in patients who experience hallucinations. Suggestion - Patients who experience hallucinations can apply Al-Qur'an and Al-Fatihah murrotal therapy as non-pharmacological therapy to reduce the symptoms they are experiencing.
