Abstract

Background: One of the range of motion exercises is joint mobilization, namely range of motion (ROM) exercises. The limitation of motion results in limited range of motion of the joints and results in disturbances in joint flexibility in damage to the femur bone fragments causing impaired physical mobility and followed by spasm of the thigh muscles which causes a typical deformity in the thigh, namely shortening of the lower leg. If this condition continues without optimal intervention, there will be a risk of malunion of the femur. Purpose: To compare nursing care in two cases with impaired physical mobility in post orif femoral fractures at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Bantul. Method: Case study research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were patients with post orif left femur fractures in 2 cases. Data collection techniques with observation and interviews. Results: the results show the results of the evaluation of nursing problems with physical mobility disorders in cases 1 and case 2, it was found that physical mobility disorders were resolved, marked by achieving the goals of nursing care, namely movement in the thighs of post op Orif scars could be reduced in cases 1 and 2 it seemed that they could turn -Turn the body slowly, the movement of the legs cannot move the thighs, scars from surgery. Conclusion: The evaluation was carried out for 3 days in cases 1 and 2 with nursing problems with physical mobility disorders that had not been resolved because they had not met the criteria in the goals of nursing care
