Abstract

This study aimed to explain about the trade war between the US and China which has an impact on the economy in Indonesia. In this study, the author use a system of theoretical approaches to explain how the trade war between the US and China have effect which is Indonesia not included in the trade war between the US and China. The researcher used qualitative analysis method supported by secondary sources for the data analysis. This study found that Indonesia was affected by the trade war between the US and China because the two countries were the largest trading partners for Indonesia. There are two impacts, Indonesia will lose special treatment from US (GSP) and Indonesia can open opportunities for export products to compete in the US market.
