Abstract

This study aims to analyze quality control at PT. Misaja Mitra Pati Factory uses the SQC (Statistical Quality Control) method. The data used are primary and secondary data, primary data obtained from observations and interviews with QC Supervisors, secondary data in the form of other data relating to the company either from the company or from other sources. The number of samples used in this study were 26 samples in the shrimp peeling production process. The analysis technique in this study uses control charts and cause-effect diagrams, and then processed using QM for Windows software. The results of this study prove that the quality control in PT. Misaja Mitra Pati Factory has generally met production standards at the stripping stage. However, there are several points of proportion that come out of the UCL (Upper Control Limit) line. Factors that affect damage in the stripping process include: labor, quality of raw materials, and methods. The main factors that influence are labor and method factors. Quality control of PT. Misaja Mitra Pati Factory as a whole can still be tolerated and said to be under control after using the control chart the average proportion point is still under control.
