Abstract
The development of transnational crime has made many countries experience enormous losses, this has implications for national security and disrupts the economic growth of a country, in general in Southeast Asia. With this phenomenon, Indonesia must oversee the territory and security of its country, by cooperating with several countries in ASEAN. Through the explanation above, Transnational crime is very important for every country to pay attention to. to understand the importance of National Defense and facilitate us in transnational crime in Southeast Asia. The author takes the cooperation between Indonesia and countries in Southeast Asia, the purpose of this research is to analyze the extent of cooperation between Indonesia and countries in Southeast Asia, such as; Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines as well as to become a reference for other researchers and government stakeholders to implement policy policies that suit their needs. In this study, the authors use the theory of International Cooperation which explains comprehensively about cooperation between countries or organizations. The author uses primary and secondary data, and uses qualitative methods sourced from books, journals, articles, news, and other things that can support this research. In the final section, the authors explain the recommendations so that they can be used as a reference for those who analyze further Indonesia's cooperation with Southeast Asian countries to address transnational crimes
