Abstract

Tobacco use become one of the matters in the world, including in Thailand. The Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) was created to promote the health awareness about the consequence of tobacco consumption and exposure to tobacco smoke. Almost half of the Thailand populations have experienced the dangerous disease or even mortality which causes by tobacco use and being secondhand smoke. Also, the production of tobacco products become one of the reasons why it is still easily to found and consume tobacco products. This research is important because tobacco use is a serious matter where the country’s population is at stake and humanity is challenged to solve this tobacco use problem. This research findings above show that the WHO FCTC (Framework Convention on Tobacco Control) using the set of measures called MPOWER to reducing the tobacco consumption in Thailand.
