Abstract
Surgical instrument washer is used for washing surgical instruments using hot water. Generally, washing of surgical instruments is carried out by washing them with detergent and water. This allows dirt and detergent to remain on the surgical instrument. In connection with this, a Microcontroller Based Dishwasher Instrument tool is needed as a surgical instrument washing machine by utilizing water temperatures with a temperature of 40-50ºC. This washing device utilizes a microcontroller as a control for the working system of the tool, in order to make it easier for medical operators to ensure that the surgical instruments are clean prior to the next sterilization process. Based on the research results, it was found that the average temperature during the washing process for 5 minutes was 41.7 ° C where the temperature value was still included in the temperature range used and the instrument washing process with the dishwasher instrument worked well.
