Abstract

Menurunnya moral dan melemahnya etika serta sopan santun anak sangat disadari dan menjadi keprihatinan dalam dunia pendidikan. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanggulangi kemerosotan moral ialah melalui pembentukan adab siswa berbasis keteladanan guru. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana peran keteladanan guru dalam pembentukan adab santri di Pondok Pesantren Hamalatul Qur�an Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumentasi yang mendukung temuan pada penelitian ini. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan display data yang kemudian direduksi untuk mengambil data yang diperlukan, dan terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukkan adab santri berbasis keteladanan guru di Pondok Pesantren Hamalatul Qur�an Yogyakarta dilakukan melalui sikap, perkataan dan pembiasaan. Nilai-nilai luhur yang ditanamkan di pesantren dapat membentuk kepribadian santri yang selanjutnya menjadikan karakter yang melekat dalam diri. Adab dan kepribadian yang menjadi ikon pendidikan keagamaan meliputi nilai aqidah, nilai ibadah dan nilai akhlak. Ketiga pembentukkan adab tersebut ditanamkam melalui pembiasaan dengan mentaati peraturan pesantren dan juga peraturan yang ada dalam masyarakat.Declining morals and weakening of children's ethics and manners are well realized and become a concern in the world of education. One of the steps that can be taken to overcome moral decline is through the formation of student discipline based on teacher example. This study aims to analyze how the role of exemplary teachers in the formation of adab santri at the Hamalatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Research data were obtained from observations, interviews, and collection of documentation that supports the findings of this study. The research data is analyzed with display data which is then reduced to retrieve the necessary data, and finally draw conclusions. The results showed that the formation of adab santri based on teacher example at Hamalatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta was carried out through attitudes, words and habituation. The noble values instilled in pesantren can shape the personality of the students which further makes the character inherent in themselves. Adab and personality that become icons of religious education include the value of aqidah, the value of worship and moral values. The three forms of civilization are planted through habituation by obeying the rules of pesantren and also the regulations that exist in society.
