Abstract
Progo River is a river that is watered by sediment from the activity of Mount
Merapi. Sand mining activities in the Progo River have an influence on the shape
of the River. This led to a decrease in the riverbed as a result of the large amount of
sediment collection. Sediment transport analysts to find out the agradation and
degradation. This research method uses primary data in the form of output from
hecras application and secondary data in the form of sand mining volume and debit
data. Debit data uses data obtained from BBWSO, using HEC-RAS 5.0.7 and
ArcMap 10.4.1 software to process the required spatial data. The data obtained was
analyzed using the Meyer – Peter & Muller and Frijlink equations. The results of
the analysis obtained by the Meyer – Peter & Muller equation experienced
sedimentary transport of 1904374.78 m3/year,and there was a degradation of 0.34
m/year in 2019, as well as a degradation of 0.53 m/year pata in 2020. According
to Frijlink, sediment transportation is 653030.44 m3/year,and there will be an
agradation of 0.06 m/year in 2019, as well as degradation of 0.14 m/year in 2020.
