MISI KEMANUSIAAN INTERNASIONAL MUHAMMADIYAHDALAM KASUS ROHINGYA

This paper will discuss about how the Muhammadiyah's
strategy as one of the largest religious community
organizations in Indonesia and even the world in addressing
humanitarian issues that occur in the Rohingya ethnicity. The
inter-ethnic conflict that occurred in Rakhine is one of the
largest and longest inter-ethnic conflicts of all time. This paper
uses the concept of Faith Based Organization and
Humanitarian Action which can then be seen that
Muhammadiyah in helping to resolve conflicts uses Al-Ma'un's
theological strategy. With this strategy, Muhammadiyah with
the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) as
the coordinator has made various efforts, such as raising funds
and revitalizing refugee camps.
