Abstract
L’Oreal as the biggest beauty company in the world has a hand in commercializing the Argan oil usage in cosmetics. As the industry flourishes, came obstacles and side effects that affect the people of Morocco living along the Argan forests, whose lives have been dependent on Argan resources. To improve their quality of life, L’Oreal made continuous trade commitment to the Women Cooperatives that produce Argan oil and work alongside NGOs to provide healthcare funds and better salary. Analyzed with the pyramid model of CSR and Fair Trade concept, L’Oreal as MNC indeed is committed to the cause but demands of being MNC are still priority.
