Abstract
At the end of 2019 the World Health Organization (WHO) reports the appearance of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the city of Wuhan, China, and such as, it was declared a pandemic. The Indonesian government’s attempt to deal with COVID-19 infection is to adopt a large-scale social restraint policy (PSBB) where are one true form is social distancing. The country’s social distension policy at the time of the PSBB is a confrontation on the quality of life and productivity of the Indonesian people that implement the policy. The study has the goal of knowing the quality of life and productivity of students who live through social distancing as a precautionary COVID19. The study is a non-experimental observational study using cross-sectional technique and pharmacoeconomics analysis of cost of analysis. Sampling techniques are used with 30 days spread of questionnaire, samples used are students who undergo social distancing at PSBB time in Indonesia. A descriptive quality of life analysis uses a whoqolbref instrument by performing an average approximate score on each domain. Analysis of productivity is done with the average calculation of each group, followed by an average ratio of both input groups and expense groups. The sample in this study were contained 280 respondents of 67 men and 213 women, with 2 age categories, namely 9 respondents aged 12-17 years old and 271 years old 18-25 years old. The respondents in this study mostly live within 9 – 12 weeks of socia distancing. The results for the quality of life in the physical health domain were obtained an average of 62,65 ± 14,64; psychological health domain of 62,58 ± 17,43; social relations domain of 53,76 ± 19,44; and environmental domains of 61,53 ± 16,52. Productivity analysis shows that the average income before undergoing social distancing is Rp 1.555.714 ± Rp 119.615; the average income during social distancing is Rp 686.392 ± Rp 54.408; average expenditure before undergoing social distancing is Rp 1.023.911 ± Rp 49.164; and the average expenditure during social distancing is Rp 528.125 ± Rp 46.216. The average decrease in income was Rp 869.322 ± Rp. 65.207 (p = 0,000) and the average decrease in expenditure was Rp 495.786 ± Rp 2.948 (p = 0,000). The conclusion of this study is that students who undergo social distancing have good physical health quality, good psychological health, moderate social relations, and good environment. Students who undergo social distancing experience have a significant decrease in income and a significant decrease in expenditure.
