Abstract
Adolescent is a transitional stage between childhood and adulthood so that physiological, psychological, and emotional changes. Adolescents will experience cognitive development, especially attention which is important in the learning process, intelligence, and understanding new information. Changes in activity that occur at this stage can cause adolescents to experience fatigue both physically and mentally. Likewise, there can be changes in eating habits or patterns. Many studies have indirectly shown that eating patterns affects attention and fatigue. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eating patterns on attention and body fatigue in the adolescent age group. This study used an observational analytic study design with a cross sectional approach. The data collection method used three questionnaires, namely the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), and Chalder Fatigue Scale (CFS). The number of respondents was 80 respondents. The results were analyzed using the Chi-Square Test statistical test, show that there is no significant relationship between eating patterns on attention with a p-value of 0.650 and a p-value of 0.369 between eating patterns on body fatigue which indicates no significant relationship.
