PENGARUH KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP SELF CONTROL SISWI MADRASAH MU'ALLIMAAT MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA.

This study aims to see whether there is an influence of spiritual intelligence and self-control on female students of Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative in nature with simple linear analysis. The sample was determined by accident sampling technique as many as 55 female students with criterion of living in dormitory at least 1 year. The data collection was through questionnaires with the scale of spiritual intelligence from Tasmara, and self-control from Averill. The results of the study showed that the spiritual intelligence of female students tended to be high with a percentage of 78.2%, self-control they had tended to be high with a percentage of 85.5%, and value of coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.605 or 60.5%. It meant that the dependent variable of self-control was explained with 60.5% by the spiritual intelligence variable, meaning there was a positive significant relationship of spiritual intelligence and self-control. So, it can be concluded that spiritual intelligence with selfcontrol is related which means that more activities related to spiritual intelligence will increase the selfcontrol of female students in the Dormitory of Madrasah Mu'alliimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. For the next researchers, it is expected that in the future they can add male variables and other variables that affect self- control as comparison.
