Abstract

The Balanced Scorecard is a tool that translates the organization's mission and strategy into a comprehensive set of performance measures that provides a framework for strategic measurement and management systems consisting of four perspectives, one of which is an internal business perspective. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effectiveness of the hospital's strategic plan in improving hospital performance based on an internal business perspective with the Balanced Scorecard approach. The study used documentation data collection techniques. Data collection carried out in this study was divided into 2 stages, namely literature study and secondary data collection. The documents studied were in the form of Strategic Plan data and BLU B Hospital annual report data from an internal business perspective which was assessed based on Perdirjen No. 36 of 2016 and the barber jhonson curve. The effectiveness of the service performance of BLU B Hospital is better than BLUD A Hospital with a total score of 56.60, and the efficiency of the service quality performance of BLUD A Hospital is better with the results of the Barber Jhonson curve that meets one point in an efficient area.
