Abstract
Background: The phenomenon of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) has come to the attention of many people. There are still many LGBT groups who are still hesitant to open up to society. The majority of LGBT groups state or present themselves as heterosexual people, in this case so that LGBT people can mingle and mingle comfortably in social activities. This LGBT phenomenon raises pros and cons on various occasions. For those who agree with the existence of LGBT they expect their existence to be respected on the basis of humanity, For those who are contra LGBT, they see this behavior as deviant, sinful, causing damage to the social order of humanity, leading to the extinction of the human species. PURPOSE: The aim of this literature review is to determine the effects of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender behavior. METHOD: This literature uses an online search using the data base used by the author, including PubMed, Jstor, Science Direct, Sage Journal and Google Schoolar with a publication year limit for the last 5 years, from 2015 to 2020. The keywords used in the literature search were "LGBT. AND "Lesbian" AND "Gay" AND "Bisexual" AND "Transgender" AND "Homosexual" AND "Impact". RESULTS: The initial search yielded 609 articles that showed a high correlation with the topic to be reviewed. The final results of the articles that meet the requirements of 15 articles are then synthesized and their quality assessed using tools, namely the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). Conclusion: The impacts of LGBT behavior in the literature that have been reviewed include health care, family and socially which includes discrimination and bullying.
