DAMPAK KEBERADAAN RITEL MODEREN TERHADAP KEBERLANGSUNGAN RITEL TRADISIONAL (Studi Kasus Kecamatan Mergangsan, Kota Yogyakarta)

This study aims to determine the level of profit, income and number of buyers in traditional retail before and after the establishment of modern retailers (Superindo, Alfamart and Indomaret) in Mergangsan District, Yogyakarta City. This study uses primary data with statistical analysis of paired sample t-test. The population in this study were all traditional retail traders in Prawirotaman Market as many as 431 traders who sell the same products as modern retailers and a sample of 100 traders who were selected by random sampling. The results showed that there were changes in the number of profits, income and the number of buyers in traditional retail between before and after the establishment of modern retail in Mergangsan District, Yogyakarta City. The results of statistical analysis show that there are significant differences in profits, income and number of buyers before and after the establishment of Superindo, Alfamart and Indomaret in Mergangsan District, Yogyakarta City.
