Abstract

This research discusses about USA foreign policy toward Human Rights issues that China had against Uighur Muslims during Donald Trump Presidency. Donald Trump is a president who comes from a republican party who has a conservative ideology, so the decision to officially take action on the issue of human rights feels very odd. The purpose of this research is to identify the reasons why Donald Trump passed the bill drafted by the congress regarding the human rights issue that befell Uighur Muslims in China's Xinjiang. This research found that there were three factors that influenced Trump's decision. The first factor is domestic politics, the second is economic factors and the last one is international factors.
