Abstract

This study aims to reveal the values of Islamic education contained in the
activities of the Yogyakarta branch of the HMI cadre. In addition, this study aims
to obtain an overview and describe the process of implementing the values of
Islamic education contained in the Cadre I Training (LK I) and Family Education
(PK I) HMI Yogyakarta Branch.
This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive
research type. The data collection method is through observation, interviews,
documentation and triangulation. The data were analyzed by reducing data,
presenting data, and drawing conclusions.
The results show that cadre activities at the Yogyakarta branch of the HMI
(Islamic Student Association) have a content of Islamic education values. The
values of Islamic education are: (1) Aqidah (creed). (2) Morals (3) Mu'amalah
(social relationship). The activities that concentrate on implementing the value of
Islamic education are in the following activities: (1) Cadre Training I. (2) Family
Education I. The process of implementing Islamic education values in LK I
activities is carried out in the form of intensive training which is carried out for
three days. LK I activities have two lessons, namely transfer of knowledge and
transfer of value. The method used in LK I uses lecture, discussion, conversation
and habituation methods. The process of implementing the values of Islamic
teachings in PK I is carried out culturally or according to the needs and culture
that exist in each commissariat. The form of the process of implementing Islamic
values offered in PK I can be in the form of small discussion forums, rihlah
(journey), friendship and other activities. However, all of these activities must
have Islamic teaching content. The for the process of implementing Islamic values
to cadres or students in the Yogyakarta branch of the HMI can be done in the
following ways: (1) Discussion method. (2) habituation method. (3) conversation
method.
