Abstract
Thailand is a popular country as a destination for children's sex tourism. Despite laws against it, the child sex industry continues to thrive in Thailand, especially in tourist areas. The Thai government collaborating with ECPAT, a non-governmental organization that focuses on the commercial sexual exploitation of children to address this problem. However, the number of children trafficking is consistently growing to meet the industry's needs for child sex tourism. This problem is analyzed using the concept of organizational performance. This study aims to determine the factors that hinder NGO ECPAT in addressing the problem of child sex trafficking in Thailand. The results indicate that child sex trafficking in Thailand is developing constantly despite the Thai government and ECPAT run a huge effort to tackle child sex trafficking. There are internal and external factors that hinder ECPAT's performances. The internal factors include fluctuations in funds from donors. Meanwhile, external factors include increased corruption in Thailand. This indicates that ECPAT's attempts in Thailand to fight child sex trafficking were ineffective.
