Abstract
This study investigates the factors influencing the intention of religious leaders in Banten, Indonesia, to utilize mobile banking services offered by Bank Syariah Indonesia, focusing on variables such as Islamic financial literacy, perceived costs and benefits, community influence, and religious obligation. Using quantitative research from 243 religious leaders and analyzing the data with structural equation modeling, the findings reveal significant insights: a positive correlation exists between Islamic financial
literacy and attitudes toward mobile banking, with leaders
demonstrating a greater willingness to adopt these services when they possess higher financial literacy. Furthermore, the perceived benefits, such as convenience and accessibility, outweigh the associated costs, positively influencing their intentions to use mobile banking. The practical implications suggest that Islamic banks should prioritize educational initiatives to enhance financial
literacy among religious leaders, enabling informed decisions about mobile banking. This research contributes to understanding how religious obligations and community influences affect the adoption of mobile banking services in Indonesia, highlighting the interplay between faith and modern financial practices and offering insights to inform the marketing strategies of Islamic banks.
