ANALISIS ALIH FUNGSI LAHAN PERTANIAN DI KOTA METRO PROVINSI LAMPUNG

Land is one of the important parts to fulfill human needs as a medium for planting in the agricultural process to meet food needs and other development. Land can be interpreted as an environment consisting of climate, relief, soil, water and vegetation and everything above it that influences land use. This study aims to identify the conversion of agricultural land in Metro City, Lampung Province from 2003 to 2023. The research method uses data analysis methods using RBI maps and Google Earth Engine to determine the area of land cover. Based on the results of the study from 2003 to 2023, there was an increase in the classification of built-up land which increased by 1.687,30 Ha, then open land by 153,40 Ha, then water bodies by 88,17 Ha. Classification that decreased was rice fields by 1.773,39 Ha and non-rice fields by 155,49 Ha. The government and community are expected to continue to pay attention to environmental aspects and maintain environmental sustainability when carrying out development in the Metro city area.
