Abstract
This study aims to describe agroforestry in disaster prone areas of Mount Merapi, analyze the income of food crops and non-food agroforestry, non-agrofrestrial income, and the contribution of agroforestry food crop income to the total household income of agroforestry farmers. The location of this study was taken in four places that are disaster prone areas of Mount Merapi (KRB II) including Village, Jemowo, Tlogolele Village, Krinjing Village, and Glagaharjo Village which is a farming of food crops and non-food agroforestry. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling techniques is choosing agroforestry farmers who apply food crop farming, namely horticultural and crops and non-food crops including woody plants in the form of seasonal crops and annual crops. The data was taken based on the results of field surveys and interviews of respondents using questionnaires. Data analysis through qualitative descriptive explains the application of agroforestry and the types of crops farmed. Quantitative descriptive analysis is conducted to determine the baiaya, revenue, income of food crops and non-food agroforestry, non-agroforestry income, and income contribution. The results showed a pattern of application of agroforestry, namely simple and complex agroforestry. Agroforestry food crop income (On Farm) amounted to Rp. 4,837,508 and non-food at Rp. 693,817 non-agroforestry income from Off Farm amounted to Rp. 672,043, and Non Farm amounted to Rp. 9,959,856, with total farmer household income of Rp. 16,143,996. The contribution of agroforestry food crop income to the total household income of agroforestry farmers is 29,85%.
