MOTIVASI ANGGOTA KELOMPOK TANI DALAM PEMANFAATAN LAHAN PEKARANGAN PERKOTAAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to i) determine the motivation of farmer group members in utilizing urban yards during the Covid-19 pandemic, ii) Identify factors that related to the motivation of farmer group members in utilizing urban yards. Based on data from Departement Agriculture of Yogyakarta City, there are at least six farmer groups that have succeeded on implementing the concept of vegetable village which is accordance with their direction. Respondents were selected by doing lot and 45 farmers were selected as samples. Data were obtained by interview techniques using questionnaires. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, Spearman’s rank correlation analysis, and instrument test analysis. The results of this study indicate that the motivation of farmer group members in urban yard land use is seen from the motivation for the needs of existence, relatedness and growth, including in the high category. However, it can be seen that the motivation for the need for growth has a higher average suspension than the motivation for existence and also its relatedness. The results of the Spearman Rank correlation coefficient analysis show that the only internal factors related to the motivation of farmer group members are age to existence and age to relatedness. Meanwhile, external factors are the role of the group leader, the role of extension agents and the role of information technology both on existence, relatedness and growth.
