PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER TANGGUNG JAWAB MELALUI PIMPINAN RANTING IKATAN PELAJAR MUHAMMADIYAH DI PONDOK PESANTREN ASY SYIFA' MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL

This research aims to (1) analyze the formation of the responsibility character in the Branch Leadership of the Muhammadiyah Students Association of the Asy Syifa' Muhammadiyah Bantul Islamic Boarding School, (2) analyze the results of the character building of responsibility through the Branch Leader of the Muhammadiyah Students Association of the Asy Syifa' Muhammadiyah Bantul Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research method is descriptive method. The location of this research was the Islamic Boarding School of Asy Syifa 'Muhammadiyah Bantul. The subjects of this study were supervisors, administrators, and members of the Asy Syifa' Muhammadiyah Bantul Islamic Boarding School. The data collection method was conducted through interview, observation, documentation. The data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show that (1) the formation of the character of responsibility through the Leadership of the Asy Syifa' Muhammadiyah Bantul Islamic Boarding School, include: providing habituation and routine activities, making administrators a role model for its members, imposing punishments and dropping off, and accustoming administrators to always manage the environment of the Asy Syifa Islamic boarding school Muhammadiyah Bantul. (2) The results of the formation of the character of responsibility through the Leadership of Asy Syifa' Muhammadiyah Bantul Islamic Boarding School, among them are: the management becomes aware of responsibility, the management becomes aware of the importance of being responsible, the administrators become orderly, the administrators become an example and maintain behavior, and the administrators become more disciplined.
