Abstract

This research attempts to discuss about the cultural diplomacy that being applied by the Chinese government. After its independence, China‘s government has been actively participate in many diplomatic affairs in order to gain a better image in international sight. The termendous growth of the most populated country in Asia for the past decades, China has continously proven themselves as the most important actor in the global influence. There are several diplomatic sectors that has been explored by this ‗bamboo curtain‘ country, and one of them is the cultural diplomacy. Hence, based on this legal research, the author is trying to deliver the cultural diplomacy of China‘s Government through the recent most popular online game: Genshin Impact by applying the ‗soft power‘ toward the international public.
