Abstract
This study aims to i) describe the behavior of buying chicken meat by fast food restaurants in Kasihan District ii) to analyze the factors that influence the demand for chicken meat by fast food restaurants in Kasihan District. The research method uses the survey method. Respondent sampling was carried out in Kasihan District and obtained 17 respondents. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and multiple regression models. It is known that the average purchase of chicken meat at fast food restaurants is 522.98 kg. The average frequency of purchasing chicken meat is 5 times a week. Places of purchase for chicken include markets, suppliers, slaughterhouses, company warehouses, and company partners. The type of chicken meat used is broiler chicken. It is known that the variables that affect the demand for chicken meat in fast food restaurants in Kasihan District at the 95% confidence level are the price of chicken meat and sales turnover. While the variables that do not affect the demand for chicken meat at fast food restaurants in Kasihan District are the price of cooking oil, the price of flour, the price of rice, and the type of business.
