Abstract
This study aims to determine the costs, revenues, income, benefits and risks of semi-organic and conventional rice farming in Sidomulyo Village, Godean District. The research location was chosen purposively and the samples were taken using census and random sampling methods. The number of samples in semi-organic and conventional rice farming were 30 farmers who were members of the Farmer Group in Sidomulyo Village. The average difference test on acceptance, income, and profit, was tested using the independent t test, while the farm risk can be seen based on the coefficient of variation (CV). The results showed that the production cost per 2500 m2 in semi organic rice was Rp. 4,966,082, while in conventional rice farming was Rp. 4,113,473. The income of farmers in semi-organic rice farming is Rp. 3,254,939, while in conventional rice farming is Rp. 2,246,521. The profit of farmers in semi-organic rice farming is Rp. 1,733,009, while in conventional rice farming, it is Rp. 976,469. The coefficient of variation in semi-organic rice farming is relatively greater than the coefficient of variation in conventional rice farming.
