Abstract
Electrical energy is the energy most needed by humans. Indirectly, electrical energy is one of the basic human needs for daily activities and is even used for industry. So that the use of renewable energy is a method that can be used in an effort to reduce the use of fossil energy, which until now has been decreasing. The National Energy Council (DEN) has synchronized in 2025 the use of renewable energy (EBT) in Indonesia to be balanced with the use of fossil energy. The use of renewable energy from 5.7% is expected to increase to 25.9% in 2025. The use of PLTS is currently growing, while battery usage is less attractive because the use of the system is more attractive to apply due to economic factors. The main components used in PLTS are solar panels and grid tie inverters. When the use of electricity from PLTS experiences a lack of energy, the need can be supplied from the PLN electricity network. Vice versa, when the use of electricity from PLTS experiences excess energy, it will be sent to the PLN network. The purpose of this research is to find out how efficient the use of PLTS is for residential customers and so that an understanding of PLTS (renewable energy) can be developed to reduce the use of fossil energy which is getting depleted over time.
