Abstract
KB program has been established as government policy in suppressing the rate of population growth. The implementation of the program is in the form of contraceptive use. One of the contraceptives provided is implanted contraceptives. The selection of implantable contraceptives is influenced by a variety of factors. A total of 15 out of 206 women of childbearing age in Brajan Village use implant contraceptives where the number is the smallest number of contraceptive users of other methods. Although not many enthusiasts, women of childbearing age who already use contraception have fundamental things that affect them in choosing the contraceptive implant. The results of this study show five themes related to these factors in the form of knowledge related to implant contraceptives, perceptions related to implanted contraceptives, experience of using implanted contraceptives, excess implant contraceptives, and social support in choosing implant contraceptives. The conclusion of this study is a good understanding of the mother's understanding of implant contraception, the existence of a reliable source of information, the mother feels comfortable, the mother believes fully in the effectiveness of implanted contraceptives, the side effects are felt very mild, the mother feels that the financing of contraception is quite affordable, contraceptive implants are easy in the installation of the device, do not interfere with sexual activity, support in the use of implants obtained from husbands and health workers
