Abstract
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all schools must conduct online learning in accordance with the Culture Circular number 4 of 2020, which the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture has made. To support the learning process, several schools in Wonosari use Google Classroom as a virtual classroom. However, it turns out that several problems arise in learning English, especially regarding the use of instructional media. This research aims to find out what instructional media types are used in Google Classroom by English teachers in Wonosari subdistrict during the Covid-19 pandemic; and to know the criteria are considered in selecting the instructional media used in Google Classroom by English teachers. This research used descriptive qualitative design. The participants in this research were six English teachers who teach at Junior High Schools in Wonosari subdistrict. The criteria that have been used in selecting participants were English teachers who actively use Google Classroom and English teachers who teach at Junior High Schools in Wonosari subdistrict.
