Abstract

HIV/AIDS is an epidemic that becomes the second largest cause of death in thr Africa continent. By interrupting the human body cells, it caused the PLHIV more susceptible to other disease. The number of PLHIV is still considered high even there already recognized the transmission and the treatment. The lack of health facilities in Africa has become one of the factors from spread of this disease. As an International institution that created to manage HIV/AIDS, UNAIDS becomes one of important institution in Africa countries such as Rwanda. The success of Rwanda in managing HIV/AIDS can't be separated from the UNAIDS contribution especially during its Fast-Track agenda that was participated by Rwanda. This research will examine the UNAIDS contribution behind the success of Rwanda's participation in Fast- Track agenda. By using qualitative methods such as library research, collecting data from books, news and reports this research is formed. Using the roles Liberal institution that defines by Robert Keohane, it helps the writer to examine the analysis of UNAIDS contribution in Rwanda participation.
