Abstract

Because of the globalization era, numerous non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have arisen from various industries or with diverse goals. The Foundation for Human Rights and Freedom and Humanitarian Relief, often known as the IHH, is a non-governmental that focuses on humanity. IHH aims to reach every country affected by wars, catastrophes, poverty, and human rights abuses and believes that, in addition to official and organization participation in the settlement of humanitarian issues, citizen efforts play a complementary role. IHH provides health services in drought and aridity-affected areas. This makes the author wants to research on how the foundation use its ability on helping countries that need aid assistance, particularly Africa. With a research question “How did IHH contribute towards the emergency aids in Africa in 2007-2017?” and by using one theoretical framework namely Grassroot Development NGO. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The results of research through journal articles and official website prove that IHH made donations and resulted in funding, it can deliver and provide health emergency aids in Africa.
