Abstract
Basically, each region has its own autonomy so that it has the authority to develop regional progress in accordance with the law. The existence of this is certainly very helpful for how an area can develop the potentials that exist in the area, and involve the active role of the community in all activities to participate starting from planning village funds so that they have a program that is in accordance with what is expected by the community itself. Good planning of village funds and followed by the community will have an impact on the quality of a village's program and the target of allocating funds in accordance with what is needed by the community, especially in Sumberarum Village. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method, namely a qualitative approach that has natural characteristics as a data source that directly manifests the meaning of a social phenomenon that exists in society. The reason the researchers chose this method was because they studied qualitative research methods with an approach that could support a more detailed analysis of how community participation in village fund planning is in Sumberarum Village, Moyudan District, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The results obtained from this study indicate that community participation in participating in village fund planning still needs to be improved. The community in general added that they had never participated in activities related to village fund planning. Very low participation is indicated by the absence of the community in attending meetings, not participating in educating, not giving ideas, and the monitoring function of the program is very minimal in Sumberarum Village, Moyudan District, Sleman, Yogyakarta
