Abstract
Time and cost are two factors that influence the success of a project.
Project benchmarks can be seen from the short completion time and minimal cost but do not neglect the quality of work that will be produced at the end of the project. The way that can be done to produce an effective and efficient project is by comparing the construction costs of adding working hours and adding heavy equipment, the accelerated selection of critical work is something that needs to be considered.
Management of a project needs to be carried out systematically to ensure that the implementation time of a project is in accordance with the contract or faster, so that the costs incurred can provide benefits. In this case analysis using the Time Cost Trade Off method with the help of the Microsoft Project 2010 program.
The results of this study indicate that the cost after calculating the acceleration with the addition of working hours and the addition of tools found that the acceleration of the addition of tools for 3 hours with crashing duration
195.55 days at a cost of Rp6,482,126,072.26 more efficient and cheaper compared to the addition of working hours and also cheaper than the costs that must be incurred if the project experiences a delay in the completion of the work.
