Abstract
Indonesia is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire Region Line or Ring of Fire. The area in Indonesia is a disaster prone area, especially earthquakes this is because, Indonesia is squeezed by three active plates, namely the Indo-Australian Plate from the south, the Eurasian Plate from the north, and the Pacific Plate from the east. Yogyakarta Special Region is one of the areas that has been shaken by an earthquake of 6.3 MM that resulted in damage to buildings and the loss of life. The construction of buildings in disaster-prone areas must be in accordance with the principles of earthquake-resistant buildings and must be supervised by a team that is competent against earthquake-resistant buildings. Therefore, in the construction of UNY Entrepreneurship Building Wates Campus needs to be conducted research on the vulnerability of buildings to earthquakes using the RVS (Rapid Visual Screening) method against FEMA P-154 2015. This research uses qualitative method and conducts live observations (interviews, surveys, and building sketches) and then fills out the FEMA P-154 2015 form. From the results of the study obtained the value of S = 2.3 with a percentage of the vulnerability of buildings to earthquakes by 0.5%. So that UNY Entrepreneurship Building Wates Campus is safe against earthquakes. But more specific research is still needed on soil data, building foundations, and laboratory research
