Abstract
–Rawalo 150kV Substation is a type of transmission substation located in southern Java, which is more precisely located in Purwokerto, Central Java, which is useful for distributing electric power from the generator to the distribution substation. The main purpose of the author in making this research is to find out how to determine the correct Overcurrent relay setting according to the needs of the Rawalo 150kV Substation and also to know whether the condition of the Overcurrent relay in the Rawalo 150kV Substation is in good or bad condition with ETAP 19.6 software. as the main simulator. In determining the short circuit current that occurs, the author first calculates manually obtained from the network equivalent of a distance of 21.9 km, the distance is divided into 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. There is also a difference in the setting value in the field with the manual calculation setting value with the ETAP 19.6 software, the Overcurrent relay installed between the feeder and incoming side and the relay which is calculated at the same time has a time difference of 0.1. Therefore, the time difference that occurs is included in a reasonable condition because it is still included in the tolerance for relay settings.
