Abstract
Geometric conditions of the road and the order of the rider are the main factors causing the accident. The accident rate increased from 2018 to 2019 on the section of Gua Selarong primary local street located in Bantul Regency. This study aims to identify accident characteristics, analyze the relationship of accidents with road geometric conditions using the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 application, and provide technical recommendations based on the Bina Marga Regulation 2020 to reduce the high number of accident cases. Primary data obtained in the form of road geometric data and road environment data that is useful to know the condition and completeness of existing roads, and obtained secondary data in the form of traffic accident data 2018-2020 from the Bantul Resort Police. Analysis to evaluate geometric road in this study using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 application. According to the results of the geometric inventory of the road there are still some parameters that are not yet eligible in accordance with the Bina Marga Regulation 2020, so that it still poses a risk of accident rates. There are 5 ineligible curve, 8 ineligible vertical curve, and 4 ineligible slopes. Based on the results of unsafe inventory, researchers modeled using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 and obtained 3 scs (Spiral Curve Spiral) and 5 SS (Spiral Spiral) bends, 2 crest vertical curves, 4 sag vertical curves and 7 slope that all meet the requirements of the Bina Marga Regulation 2020. So that with such modeling can be applied road standards that are safe and can reduce the risk of accident rates on the section of Gua Selarong Street.
