Abstract
These academic paper aims to describe the supply-sides analysis women political recruitment of PDIP (struggle Indonesia democratic party) to fulfill 30% quota in the 2019 general election of Wonosobo regency. This paper also discussed about obstacles of women candidates to join and win the 2019 general election by referring the supply-sides analysis. At least there are factors those influencing women candidates of PDIP to join the 2019 general election. First, political participation of women candidates in PDIP Wonosobo and the implementation of 30% quotas woman regulation in PDIP Wonosobo to encourage women fight for their right in political constellation. Second, the recruitment system of legislative women candidates in PDIP Wonosobo, which is supporting women candidates without differentiate between man and women who wants to be legislative candidates. Third, analysis supply-sides to identify the quality of candidates which contain social background (occupational class, education, ages, marital status and races), resources (time, financial resources, support networking and experiences) and motivation (drive & ambition). Those factors which are also found lack in women candidates quality can be seen some factors are not correlated with women candidates qualification in supply-sides analysis. The researchers use descriptive qualitative methodology in analyzing the data by using interview, literature review, journal and books as secondary data.
