Abstract
lopments are very fast, precise and practical. These advances develop in every side of human life, such as in the fields of communication, health, transportation to industry. However, with the development of technology in every field, sometimes this cannot be balanced by minimizing the negative impact. Examples such as air pollution, global warming, and other pollution. This study aims to monitor the air quality around the Internet of Things (IOT) based chemical plant. The method used in this study is the method of collecting air quality data in three predetermined places, then the data is taken several samples for analysis. make research data, the data will be processed by a microcontroller which is then displayed by a 0.96 inch I2C OLED and IoT platform (Thingspeak). The results of this study indicate that in testing the overall equipment around the boarding house the air quality is still very good and there is little air pollution, this is because very few vehicles pass with an average value of Hydrogen gas of 25.5 PPM, Carbon Monoxide gas value of 1680 PPM and Smoke value. of 17 PPM while in testing the overall equipment around the factory the air quality has been polluted with Carbon Monoxide Gas which is very dangerous gas to be inhaled continuously by humans but around the factory there are very many trees so that it can reduce air pollution around the factory evenly The average value of Hydrogen gas is 112.9 PPM, the value of Carbon Monoxide gas is 1843 PPM and the value of Smoke is 221 PPM. The conclusion is that the air quality around the gas factory detected is very high but around the factory there are still many trees so that air pollution can still be reduced, while the air quality around the red light is very high, but around the red light there is a lack of trees so that air pollution does not occur. can be reduced
